Pennylane coordinates seminars and advises emerging artists on how to achieve their career goals in the fine art industry. In addition to one-on-one consults locally, Pennylane has lectured on the art industry in New York, Amsterdam, Chicago, Seoul Korea and London, England. By night, Pennylane teaches History and Marketing to Fine Artists at Langara College and by day, she works as a representative of the Bau-Xi Gallery - celebrating its 50th year as the oldest commercial gallery in Canada. Guy Babineau Guy Babineau Guy Babineau is a Vancouver-based writer, educator and activist. Guy has written for The Georgia Straight, The Globe and Mail, Vancouver Magazine, Vancouver Sun, The Body Politic, The Canadian Forum, Xtra!, Azure, National Post, CBC Radio and Canadian Apparel. He is the author of the short story collection Channel Surfing in the Sea of Happiness. As a freelance copywriter, Guy has worked for credit unions, realtors, fashion labels, interior and furniture designers, software developers and book publishers across Canada and in the U.S. He’s been an advocate for LGBT rights since he came out at 15 in 1973. Guy has a BFA in Theatre from York University and an MBA from Argosy University. He currently teaches at LaSalle College Vancouver and is developing a television drama series.
